Magnetic Coil Watch

My brand new day-to-day watch, and so far it's turning out to be quite the eyecatcher. I used the normal thick leather, into which i burned the teeth of the gear pattern with a soldering iron.

The mechanism is from a watch i found on a second-hand site. the "magnetic coil" is just a couple of metres of copper audio wire, which i twisted together by hand, then wrapped around a iron core.
